April 2021 Construction Update

No jokes here, MidSouth Fiber Internet has hit another major milestone in the construction project. On April 1, 2021, we opened service to service area 101 and completed initial construction in phase 1. Members who live in service areas 101 through 111 can now sign up for bolder, faster fiber internet service. Members who reside in these areas and want MidSouth Fiber Internet should call 936-825-5100 to speak with a member service representative. If you are unsure of what area your home is in, please consult our map at https://mss.crowdfiber.com/front_end/zones.

We have made tremendous progress in the MidSouth Fiber and electric reliability project since we hooked up our first member last June. The completion of phase 1 means we can allocate additional crews and resources into our remaining phases. Crews have now focused their efforts in phase 2 to complete make-ready construction and continue hanging fiber lines. Once we complete construction in each service area, we will notify pre-registered households by email when they can sign up for service.

Those living in phases 2 and 3 have the opportunity to pre-register their address for MidSouth Fiber at www.midsouthfiber.com. Completing this step now helps you get access to reliable internet as soon as it becomes available.
